Ross McNeill Slaughter is an associate in the Washington, DC office of Zuckerman Spaeder.

Prior to joining the firm, Ross served as a trial attorney in the Federal Programs Branch of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), where he defended the United States and its agencies in cases challenging the legality of executive actions and the constitutionality of federal statutes. He also clerked for the Honorable Diana Gribbon Motz of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the Honorable Gerald J. Pappert of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Ross graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he served as Notes Co-Chair for the Harvard Law Review. While in law school, he also participated in the Criminal Justice Appellate Clinic and the Tenant Advocacy Project.
